Documentary: A Gift To Girls “He Named Me Malala”

malala-map.of where she livesMalala Yousafzai, a winner of millions of hearts, sacrifices herself for children worldwide. Even as a young child she talked like an experienced woman of 40 years. She has never allowed adversity to stop her, and at every stage of life, she has spoken for children’s rights.

Malala was born in the “Swat Valley” KPK province of Pakistan, she started going to school when she was five-years-old. She was stopped from getting an education when she was nine-years-old in 2007. when the Taliban besieged her country. She publicly spoke out, and fought to get the right to education back for herself, and other children around her; since then she never sits down for a moment.

On the 9th of October 2012, she was attacked on a school bus when she was coming back from school, and thus, the incident sparked the entire world in minutes. From a president of a country to a common person, everyone was praying for her health and fast recover, and she again won her life. She got back her life. She was hurt a lot, but somehow she is back.

When she came ut from coma, she first asked for her books, and when she didn’t find her books, she started weeping and asked “where are my books?” [01]
