Vincent Van Gogh Wheat fields
Perhaps one of the most recognized Van Gogh sky-scapes, wind-blown wheat fields, and black birds in flight, (revolutionary in my mind) and I see Vincent Van Gogh as the Father of Modern Art; pushing the limit of impressions of an object, decades before the Impressionism Era took hold.
My Facebook Group: We discuss and share literature, and the works of art that gave birth to the Renaissance. I have a background in the History of art, and appreciation of the cannon of works from the Renaissance - the rebirth.
Vincent Van Gogh, Self Portrait. Painted after having cut his lower ear lobe off, and giving it to a prostitute in a brothel as a gift.

I welcome new members to join in and share their favorite works, discuss with the group why, the history of the artist or writer, and learn ways to appreciate the greatest works of the Masters.
